I’ve designed hinges specifically to attach an acrylic glass door to a wooden frame. The primary configuration is tailored for a 10mm wood panel and a 5mm acrylic glass sheet, with the glass inset by 5mm. To compensate for this inset, a spacer is included with the model.
If your setup differs in dimensions, I’ve made the design parametric using Fusion360, allowing you to adjust the hinge to your specific requirements.
These hinges were initially created as part of my project, “Build a 3D Printer Enclosure”, which you can explore further for detailed insights.
Dimensions
The design also includes a spacer block to account for the 5mm inset of the glass. If your configuration calls for mounting the glass flush with the frame, this spacer is optional. Should you need to customize the dimensions further, the Fusion360 design is available for you to tweak the parameters to your exact needs.
