I created this gift box in the shape of a chest, specifically designed for commonly sized coins. The models are premade for coin sizes of 18, 20, 22, and 32mm, which should cover most gold and silver coins you might come across.
This design consists of two parts: the outer shell of the chest and the inset with a platform for holding the coin, along with an attachment for the lid. The modular design of the inset allows flexibility—use the platform to elegantly display a single coin or remove it to fill the chest with multiple coins or other treasures.
Additionally, I’ve provided a fully parametric Fusion 360 design. The design features a single parameter, “coin_diameter,” which dictates the dimensions of the entire box. It efficiently accommodates coin diameters ranging from 10mm to 60mm, but for coins outside this range, you might need to tweak additional parameters.
