This is another design of a cable organizer for power and network cables. It has a slide-in lock to easily add and remove cables. The design is specially made for the FFF process printed with PETG or ASA filament. I wouldn’t recommend using PLA, especially for the smaller diameters (<70mm), as the material would be too stiff and brittle for the lock to function correctly.
Dimensions
The part number and file name follow this format: LR2208-<inner diameter>.3mf
.
Inner Diameter
The inner diameter of the model is specified in millimeters. It is worth noting that the slide lock can be a bit more challenging to operate with smaller diameters.
How to Use the Cable Organizer
This cable organizer is designed to be screwed to a wall, ceiling, or underneath a desk or furniture. Ensure you use flat head wood screws, 3.5mm or 4mm. When attaching to a wall, make sure the lock is positioned on top.
The sliding lock has been engineered to block when a minor pulling force is applied, as the grooves from the layers will interlock to prevent sliding sideways.
Alternative Design
For those interested, there is a more rectangular design available with a ring lock:
