Snap-in Pipe Clamp with Zip Tie Lock

Snap-in Pipe Clamp with Zip Tie Lock

There is a new revision B of this project, with more pipe diameters and additional wall mount distances. Unless you’re specifically interested in this version of the clamps, I recommend using the newer one for improved geometry.

Revision A

I’m excited to share my design for a snap-in pipe clamp. This special design caters to the FFF process and various filaments, allowing for a fast, support-free print. It uses minimal material while providing a functional and robust part.

When printed with PETG or ASA, the clamping force is sufficient to hold pipes along a wall without additional fasteners. For ceiling mounting or to support heavy pipes, there are openings to secure the clamp using a zip tie.

Dimensions

The part number and file name are formatted as follows:

LR2209-<pipe diameter>.3mf

Pipe Diameter

The pipe diameter is specified with a number and its unit. I’ve included various metric pipe sizes and imperial pipe sizes. The values cover a broad array of common standard pipe diameters, explaining the unique numbering. The imperial sizes are based on NPS values, while metric sizes are approximately based on DN-values for plastic pipes.
