I designed a replacement cover (or shoe) for your medium-sized F-clamps, aimed specifically at use on flat surfaces. If you’ve been struggling with lost or mismatched clamp covers, this print could be your solution. However, please note that this design isn’t suited for clamping uneven surfaces or corners. Dimensions
To ensure a perfect fit, use calipers to measure your clamp’s dimensions as outlined:
- W: The width at the foot’s widest point, plus 0.5mm, rounded to the nearest integer.
- H: The average height of the foot sides, measured along the indicated line.
- L: The width measurement shown, rounded up; it’s flexible enough to stretch 1-2mm.
- C: Coverage length, for which I crafted models at 40mm.
- T: Tip height from the shoe’s base, with a standard model height set at 24mm.
Files are labeled for clarity, using a format like LR2220-W26-H4_5-L12-C40-T24, where the dimensions are indicated by the letters W, H, L, C, and T.
