My band clamps had no home, so I designed this holder to store them compactly on the wall. This design is specifically made for the Bessey BAN 700 band clamp, but it should be easily adapted for similar clamps, if needed.
Dimensions
I’ve included a drawing that displays all the dimensions of the holder. There are two versions: one for right-handed and one for left-handed users, as you can position the crank on either side of the clamp. Make sure to choose the correct one for your needs. The photos depict the right-handed version.
Design in Fusion360
The model’s Fusion360 design comes with a set of adjustable parameters that define all important aspects of the model. All parameters prefixed with “clamp_” relate to the clamp placed within the holder. By adjusting these, the holder will automatically adapt to the new clamp dimensions.
I recommend using the parameter list to modify the design only if you are an experienced Fusion360 user. The design initially builds the left-handed holder version, and it’s mirrored in the final step to produce the right-handed version. This was a result of how I originally measured and sketched the clamp.
