I designed this large decorative knob for a wardrobe, featuring a sun-like decoration on its front. The design consists of three parts, with two of them glued together to allow easy montage and maintenance.
Dimensions
The hole in the knob is designed for an M5 screw or a 5.5mm wood screw with a flat head.
Choose the Screw Direction
There are two options available:
- LR2247-701-D64-H18 – Designed to house the screw head in the knob. Compatible with M5 screws and 5mm, 5.5mm, or even 6mm wood screws with a flat head. Also works well with 4mm furniture screws.
- LR2247-711-D64-H18 – Designed to hold an M5 hex nut inside. It has a hex profile in the middle to keep the nut from spinning.
Choose the Right Materials
While this knob can be printed using PLA, I recommend using PETG or ASA for more durability. To combine aesthetics with functionality, you can print parts 701 or 711 and 703 using PETG or ASA, and print the front 702 with a visually appealing PLA material.
