I designed this simple five-point star with a bulgy shape and soft round corners as a charming decoration piece. The primary use of this design is as a lovely decoration to hang on ribbons or to add charm to gift packaging.
To make it versatile, I created four different thicknesses, each with a slightly different look due to the matching chamfer size. Additionally, each model comes in variants with or without a hole.
Dimensions
The model file name follows this format:
LR2286-Z<thickness>-D<diameter>-H<holes>.3mf
Thickness (Z)
The thickness is noted in millimetres. For example, 4 stands for 4mm.
Diameter (D)
This represents the diameter of an imaginary circle around the star’s tips. The value is in millimetres, so 040 stands for 40mm.
Holes (H)
The holes value indicates:
0= No holes1= One single hole
About this Design
The stars are composed solely of arcs with no straight lines, creating a soft and bulgy appearance. I added a small fillet at the inner corners to further soften the design and enhance print quality.
