This is my design of a bread box grate, offering a practical solution for round bread boxes such as Wesco’s “Breadboy”. The grate elevates the bread from the base of the box, enhancing air circulation, which in turn helps prevent mold formation. Additionally, this design allows bread crumbs to fall through the grate, eliminating the issue of them adhering to the bread.
The model is tailored for a bread box with an inner diameter of 195mm, aligning with the specifications of the aforementioned “Breadboy” by Wesco. To customize the grate for bread boxes of different dimensions, simply use the fully parametric Fusion360 design.
Designed with versatility in mind, the grate fits seamlessly into round bread boxes, while also maintaining stability on any flat surface.
