I’ve designed a collection of simple, round plant saucers to complement your gardening needs, focusing on both aesthetic and functional versatility. Each saucer features a unique rim profile, allowing you to match it seamlessly with different styles of flower pots. The wave-patterned ribs at the bottom not only add a touch of design flair but also serve crucial practical purposes: facilitating water drainage and ensuring proper air circulation to keep your plants healthy.
Dimensions
To cater to various needs and pot sizes, the saucers come in multiple dimensions. An example file name, LR2418-F02-S17-H030-D260
, breaks down as follows:
F02
indicates the rim profile number two.S17
denotes a side thickness of 1.7mm.H030
represents the height of the saucer at 30mm.D260
refers to the diameter of the saucer.
Choosing the Right Side Thickness
The models not only have different sizes, but also three side thicknesses, which also define the thickness of the ribs at the bottom of the saucer.
S17
(1.68mm): The thinnest variant is best suited for rigid filament. It works for smaller saucers but is too weak for saucers matching pots equal or greater than 200mm in height.S20
(2.0mm): The medium thickness gives more stability and works well for soft materials like PETG. It’s a good compromise for medium-sized indoor saucers and pots.S25
(2.5mm): My recommendation. This thickness provides excellent structural support for the sides and ribs of the saucer, even for very large prints. These prints withstand harsh outdoor conditions and heavy pots.
