Version 0.9.5
Customizable Edge Shapes:
A new Edges tab lets you define the shape of all four primary edges of the flower pot. You can choose between Fillet (rounded) and Chamfer for each edge. The shape ratio can now be reduced based on the wall’s horizontal width. Several internal refinements ensure that combinations of different edge shapes produce predictable, high-quality results.Enhanced Optimization and Quality Settings:
Profile and mesh optimization have been further improved. The UI has been simplified as well; the Z Resolution now defaults to Optimized, making high-quality results easier to achieve.New Vertical Optimisation Angle:
When Z Resolution is set to Optimized, you can fine-tune the model quality using the Vertical Optimisation Angle. Lower angles generate more mesh points and increase detail.Relaxed Limits for More Flexibility:
Many parameter limits have been loosened to offer greater freedom when designing pots. For example, the height can now be as low as 10 mm, making it easy to create matching saucers or shallow containers.Improved Side Profile Preview:
The preview now reflects the selected Z Resolution quality, allowing you to see the impact of optimization directly. With overhang correction visualization enabled, the blue profile shows the ideal form, while red areas highlight where corrections ensure the model remains printable without supports.Merged “Geometry” and “Shape” into a Unified “Main Geometry” Tab:
These settings are closely related, so they now appear in a single streamlined tab for a clearer and more intuitive workflow.Decorations Are Now Fully Optional:
You can create plain pots by simply removing all decorations from the list. No decorative elements are added unless explicitly chosen.
Version 0.9.4
Maximum Diameter Display (Top View):
A new measurement display has been added to the top view, showing the maximum diameter of the pot. This helps you better understand the final size and proportions of your design at a glance.Horizontal Twist Setting:
You can now apply a twist along the Z-axis using the new Horizontal Twist option in the Shape tab. This feature adds a stylish rotational deformation to your pot—but note, it only affects non-circular shapes.Geometry Optimisation: The mesh is now simplified to reduce the complexity of the final model. This improves performance and reduces file size.
Version 0.9.3
Overhang Visualization:
A new overhang mode highlights areas where extra support material is added—these are regions that exceed your configured overhang angle. You can toggle this view on and off using the Overhangs button. It’s a great way to quickly spot tricky print zones!Color Scheme Update:
The pot’s profile is now shown in blue to better match the 3D preview. This helps reduce confusion with the red highlights used for overhang warnings and corrections.New Decorative Shapes – Block Fillet and Spike:
We’ve added two fresh shape options to spark your creativity. Try them out to add bold or refined character to your designs!
Version 0.9.2
- Wall Shape Transitions:
You can now customize how the pot transitions between its top and bottom radius using new wall shape settings. This gives you finer control over the overall silhouette of your design.
Version 0.9.1
3D Preview Button Moved:
The 3D Preview button is now placed directly on the canvas, making it easy to access while adjusting settings.
Thanks to @cymplecy for the thoughtful suggestion!Improved View Controls:
The top and side view switches have been moved to the left side of the screen to avoid overlapping the profile view. It’s a small change that makes a big difference in usability.
Version 0.9
